This manual provides instructions for the Portable GPS Tracker, designed to work with the TrackerOne application.
Product Introduction
The Portable GPS Tracker is a device designed for tracking the location of vehicles or assets. It utilizes GPS and LBS positioning methods for accurate and quick location acquisition.
Power Supply
To power the device, open the silicone plug and connect it to an external power source. A solid red LED indicator signifies that the device is charging. A slow flashing POWER LED indicates that the device is fully charged.
LED Indicators
- Power LED Indicator: Indicates power status.
- GSM LED Indicator: Indicates GSM network status.
- Position LED Indicator: Indicates GPS positioning status.
Device Components
- Antenna receiving surface: The area where the GPS signal is received.
- Rubber Stopper: Protects the ports.
- Power Button: Used to turn the device on or off.
- USB Interface: For power connection.
Power On and Off
To turn the device on or off, press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds.
TrackerOne App
The TrackerOne app is required to use the device's features. You can download it from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store by searching for "TrackerOne" or scanning the provided QR code.
Device Binding
After downloading and installing the app, register an account on the login page. Log in and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the device binding process.
Device Installation
Before installation, ensure the device shell and accessories are intact. Proper placement is crucial for optimal performance.
Recommended Installation Locations
The following locations are recommended for installing the device:
- Glove compartment of the co-pilot
- Under the rear windshield
- Under the co-pilot's seat
- Inside the front bumper
- Inside the car door panel
- Inside the armrest box
- Inside the rear bumper
Installation Notes
- Avoid placing the device near high-temperature areas, such as car exhaust pipes, as this can affect the magnet's functionality.
- Ensure the device is not covered by metal objects and that the side with the GPS antenna faces the sky for optimal signal reception.
Device Functions
- Tracking Location: Supports GPS+LBS positioning methods for quick location acquisition.
- Trace Playback: Allows querying the vehicle's driving track for the past 180 days.
- Over-speed Alarm: Set a maximum speed limit. An alarm will be triggered if the speed is exceeded.
- Geo-fence Alarm: Define circular or polygonal geofences. An alarm notification is sent when the vehicle enters or exits these defined areas.
- Low Battery Alarm: Notifies the user when the device's power level is low, prompting timely recharging.
- Light-sensor Alarm: Features a built-in light sensor that triggers an immediate alarm if light is detected on the device's backside.
Working Modes
- Intelligent Power Saving Mode: This is the default mode. The device uploads positioning data when moving and turns off GPS when static, conserving battery life. This mode is recommended for power saving.
- Time Interval Mode: The device uploads positioning data at preset time intervals, maintaining its operational status.
