Product Usage Instructions

• Press the button to start discharging food. The red light will be on during feeding.
• The feed bin will automatically return to the food warehouse when it reaches the maximum distance.
• To pause feeding, press the button again. Double-click the button to return the feed bin to the warehouse.
• Tips: Select the appropriate feed bin based on the fish food type. Be cautious when replacing the bin due to motor-driven stretching strength.
• Download and install the XiaoMei Smart APP from the app store or scan the QR code.
• Connect to power supply – Use an external power supply. The blue indicator will blink rapidly for network matching.
• Network Matching – Keep the phone close to the device for a smoother connection. Ensure the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network in the 2.4GHz band before adding the device.

FAQ

• Q: How do I know when the feeder is low on battery?
• A: If the battery is low, the red light will flash quickly when feeding the fish.
• Q: How do I reset the device if it does not respond?
• A: Insert a pin or toothpick into the reset hole for 3 seconds and then release. This applies to specific models only.
• Q: Can I schedule regular feeding using the device?
• A: After connecting via WiFi or Bluetooth, you can conveniently schedule regular feeding using the APP.

Automatic feeding

1. Press the button, the feed bin will stretch out and start discharging food. At the same time, the red light will be on, and it will automatically return the feed bin to the food warehouse when it reaches the maximum distance. When the red light is off, automatic feeding is completed.
2. When the feed bin is out, press the button again to pause the operation.
3. When the feed bin is out, if need to withdraw feeding, double-click the button to return the feed bin to the food warehouse.
4. After connecting the device via WiFi or Bluetooth, it is more convenient to make schedules for regular feeding in the APP.

Replace the feed bin

Tips

1. Please select the appropriate feed bin according to the fish food. Since the bin is driven by the motor, the stretching strength is a little strong. Be careful with clamping hands when replacing the bin.
2. Regularly check whether the fish food holes are wet and sticky, and clean them.

Connect to power

Please connect to the external power supply, and the blue indicator quickly blinks into the network matching state.

Special note
ONLY the Lithium battery supplied of WP8621P and WP8621F is limited to manual emergency opening and closing and reservation after power failure, and cannot provide network match, network operation and other services. In normal use, it must be connected to external 5V/2A power supply

Network matching

• For a smoother connection, please keep your phone as close as possible to the device when connecting it.
• Before adding a device, please make sure that the mobile phone has been connected to a Wi-Fi network in the 2.4GHz band.

1. Open the “XiaoMei Smart” APP, register and log in (Allows the APP to get mobile-related permissions), and then click the upper right corner○+ on the homepage to add a device.
   1. Automatic search device: Turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone and click the device in the list to connect it. （(Select the Smart Fish Feeder model according to the actual product, only WP821N/ WP8621E/WP8621F/WP8621H support Bluetooth automatic search)）
   2. Manually add a device: Select by product category (Pet supplies) and Smart Fish Feeder model according to the actual product and then follow the prompts to continue.
2. The blue light flashes slowly when it is distributing the network. When the network is configured successfully, the blue indicator is steady on. If the network configuration fails, please hold the button until the blue light flashes quickly, and then the network will be re-configured

Connect to power

1. Please connect the DC 5V input to the external power supply, and the blue indicator quickly blinks into the Bluetooth connection state
2. Supplied by lithium battery, ONLY applicable for WP8622L. Without any operation, the device will go to sleep. Press the button to wake up and then connect

Bluetooth pairing

Turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone open the “VSON” APP allow the APP to get mobile-related permissions， and then click the upper right corner○+ on the homepage to add a device.

• Automatic search device: Click the device in the list to connect it.
• Manually add a device: Select by product category (Pet supplies) and Smart Fish Feeder model according to the actual product and then follow the prompts to continue. When the Bluetooth connection is successful, the blue indicator is steady on.
