Singsation Portable Karaoke Machine (1)

To charge the Freestyle: Plug the single charging cable into the DC5V jack on the back of the Freestyle. Plug the other end into a USB charging adapter (not included).

The indicator light next to the DC5V jack turns red while the Freestyle is charging.

Singsation Portable Karaoke Machine (2)

To charge the microphones: Plug both micro-USB ends of the dual charging cable into the DC5V jack on the bottom of each microphone. Plug the other end of the dual charging cable into a USB charging adapter (not included). The indicator light next to the DC5V jack turns red while the microphone is charging.

IMPORTANT: The microphone holders and USB port on the Freestyle do not charge the microphones. To charge the microphones, you must plug them in to a USB power source, like a computer or USB charging adapter.

STEP 3: TURN ON THE FREESTYLE

Singsation Portable Karaoke Machine (3)

Turn the Volume dial from the OFF position. The Freestyle announces “Power On,” and starts its light show.

After 15–30 seconds, the Freestyle announces “Pairing” and goes to Bluetooth pairing mode to set up with your Bluetooth device.

NOTE
The Freestyle’s light show turns on by default when the Freestyle is on. To turn it off, press the Light button on the top of the Freestyle.

STEP 4: PAIR WITH THE FREESTYLE

Singsation Portable Karaoke Machine (4)

Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on. Select Singsation Freestyle from the available devices to pair to the speaker.

The speaker announces “Device Connected” when it’s finished pairing and connecting to your Bluetooth device.

Note
The process of enabling Bluetooth and connecting varies from device to device. See your device’s owner’s manual for more information and specific instructions.

If you don’t see Singsation Freestyle in the list of devices available for Bluetooth pairing, turn the Freestyle off and back on again. Make sure it’s not connected to another Bluetooth device. After a few seconds, the Freestyle announces “Pairing.” If you’ve previously paired your phone or another Bluetooth device with the Freestyle, it will automatically attempt to reconnect to that device when you switch it on. If you want to pair to a new device, turn off Bluetooth on the device that’s already paired to the Freestyle. The Freestyle announces “Pairing.”

BLUETOOTH WIRELESS CONNECTION TIPS

  • Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your device is turned on.
  • Make sure there’s nothing plugged into the Singsation Freestyle’s AUX or Instrument In jacks when you’re trying to use Bluetooth.
  • The Bluetooth wireless connection works up to a range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters). This range may vary, however, based on other factors, such as room layout, wall material, obstacles, your device’s Bluetooth performance, etc. If you’re having problems connecting to the speaker, move closer to it.
  • If your device asks you for a password to connect, use “0000”.

TO USE A USB MEMORY STICK OR SD CARD: Plug the memory stick or SD card into the USB or TF slots. FAQs

Can you use a karaoke machine as a speaker?

Nearly all karaoke machines come standard with a microphone and speakers. Therefore, speeches may be delivered with even a modest karaoke machine! When giving speeches outside the home, consider using your family karaoke machine at weddings, business meetings, or educational seminars.

Is it possible to link your phone to a karaoke system?

Simply switch on the Bluetooth discovery setting on your karaoke machine, then go to the settings on your phone, select Bluetooth, then connections, and then hit search for device. You can then press it to pair the two devices after your karaoke machine appears.

How do you obtain music for a karaoke system?

Using YouTube to download karaoke music is the simplest option. There are several professional karaoke tracks with both lyric and instrumental footage. All you have to do to start singing is hook up a few microphones to your smart device or karaoke machine.

How can I download karaoke music to my USB?

To open your USB device in a new window, double-click on it. All of the files you want to export should be selected by clicking in the CD drive window. Drag them into the window for the USB stick. To make sure the songs load properly, insert the USB drive into your karaoke machine and try out a few songs.

Does every song have a karaoke machine?

Due to the legalities of music licensing, home karaoke machines typically don’t come with a built-in songbook, so you’ll need to provide the songs yourself.

Can I sing along to my TV?

For a top-notch karaoke experience with built-in effects and a pitch correction, Starmaker is the ideal app. Apple and Android mobile devices can use it.

How long does it take a karaoke machine to charge?

We advise charging the microphone overnight or for 8 to 12 hours before using it. On the bottom of the device, there is a Micro USB jack that you can use to connect a charging cable.

Can a singing machine be used with Bluetooth?

Utilize Bluetooth to wirelessly stream the audio of thousands of songs from the Singing Machine Karaoke app to your karaoke machine!

What types of batteries are needed for the singing machine?

Just 2 AA batteries will be required to get it rolling.

How ought to vocals be captured?

For 24-bit resolution, you should average -18 dB when recording vocals. The recording’s loudest passages should peak at -10 dB and have a minimum volume of -24 db.

For a home karaoke setup, a straightforward mixer typically works nicely. For instance, a straightforward 4 to 6 channel mixer with built-in effects works wonderfully.

What do you call a song that only has vocals?

Gospel, modern, and barbershop quartets and choruses are among the a cappella genres.

Need vocals in songs?

The definition of “song,” as it is commonly understood, is “music generated by vocal cords.” Lyrics are not required. The vocal cords are necessary. A song must be performed by a living animal using its own voice in order to qualify as one.

Does sound quality increase with wattage?

Yes, it is true that speakers play louder and clearer at higher power levels (watts). However, slight variations in power don’t produce much of an audible difference. The power would need to double in order to perceptibly hear a change (a 3dB increase).

How many watts of sound do I need?

A lot depends on how well you listen and how well you speak. If your speakers are 90 dB efficient and you enjoy listening to loud, uncompressed music, 200 Watts should be more than plenty for you. 50 Watts is plenty if all you listen to is jazz and light classical music and you don’t expect them to rock the house.
