PRODUCT OVERVIEW

  1. After unpacking your RV2460, write down the serial number for connection setup, located on product sticker on the unit.
  2. Remove RV2460 mounting cover by removing the 2 screws.
    Pull the cover off the mounting plate.
  3. From the opening in the Pre-load Plate, bring the 12V power, LTE and WiFi connectors down and connect them to their corresponding connections on the underside of the RV2460.
  4. Mount the RV2460 to the mounting plate by aligning the mounting slots on the R2460 to the mounting tabs on the mounting plate, push upward and then slide to lock in place.

ACTIVATE YOUR VERIZON DATA PLAN

  • Thank You for purchasing the RV2460 LTE / WiFi system. Getting started, you will need to activate a data plan to take advantage of the LTE benefits.
  • To get started with your LTE Activation, the system needs to be installed and operational. In section POWER UP complete Steps 1-5 below. At this point, you will be presented with the ICCID and IMEl numbers you will need for your Data Plan Activation.
  • Record these numbers in the space provided.
  • The RV2460 is shipped with a Verizon SIM preinstalled and ready for easy activation at https://magnadyne.com/pages/zipit-activation. If you encounter any difficulties activating your data service, review the FAQ section or contact Magnadyne technical support by phone at 310-735-2000 or by email at support@magnadyne.com.
  • Once you are logged into the RV-Link page of the activation portal, you will be presented with the current high speed data plans available. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the activation process.

IMPORTANT: Access to the internet is required for LTE Data Plan Activation

POWER UP

  • STEP 1. Press power button on the side of the RV2460 to power up the router. Boot up cycle takes up to approximately 2 minutes. After approximately 20 seconds, the unit will display SOLID RED light representing power on, no Wifi or LTE connection.

  • STEP 2. Go to the WiFi setting on your device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc) and make sure your Wifi is turned on. Select the RV2460-2.4G Network.

    NOTE: If your phone is being used as a hot spot connection, it will not be able to be used asconfiguration device.
    A second device will be required.
  • STEP 3. In the Password field type in rulinkwifi and click the Join Button. Wait until your device is connected to the RV2460-2.4G Network.

  • STEP 4. Go to your web browser and in the address field type in 192.168.10.1 and click Go or hit Enter.

  • STEP 5. The login screen will open. In the Password field type in admin and click the Login button. Status page will load and display ICCID & IMEl numbers.

CONNECT TO WIFI

  • STEP 1. To connect to WiFi, click on WiFi button from the status page brought up after the initial login screen (STEP 5).

  • STEP 2. With WiFi selected, your device will scan for available WiFi connections. Click on the the network you want the RV2460 router to connect to.

  • STEP 3. Type in the password obtained from the host location and click on connect. If previously connected to the same host location, the password will refresh automatically from your connection history. If a password is incorrect, the unit will scan again for available WiFi networks. Make your network selection again and enter the correct password. When successfully connected to WiFi, the unit will display a SOLID GREEN light. When done using WiFi, be sure to click the WiFi Off button and you will be returned to the status page.

CONNECT TO LTE

  • STEP 1. To connect to LTE, click on LTE button from the status page brought up after the initial login screen (STEP 5).

  • STEP 2. If you are using the recommended Verizon Plan, click Start LTE button to begin the connection. If using a different carrier, be sure to enter the correct APN, User Name and Password, as required by the carrier.
    IMPORTANT: Wait until ICCID & IMEl numbers are displayed before clicking Start LTE.

    Connection status with wait time will be displayed followed by a successful connection screen, taking you back to the home page Login. When successfully connected to LTE, the unit will display a SOLID BLUE light.
  • STEP 3. To disconnect from LTE, click on the LTE Off button from the Status LTE screen. Disconnecting status screen will display, and you will be returned to the home page Login screen.
