In order to achieve maximum safety while using the Razer Siren X , we suggest that you adopt the following guidelines:

  1.  Should you have trouble operating the device properly and troubleshooting does not work, unplug the device and contact the Razer hotline or go to support.razerzone.com for support. Do not attempt to service or fix the device yourself at any time.
  2.  Do not take apart the device (doing so will void your warranty) and do not attempt to operate it under abnormal current loads.
  3.  Do not puncture nor insert foreign objects
  4.  Do not use or install the device and its components near water, moisture, solvents, or other wet surfaces, nor expose the device to high temperatures or direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
  5.  Keep the device and its components away from liquid, humidity or moisture. Operate the device and its components only within the specific temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). Should the temperature exceed this range, unplug and switch off the device in order to let the temperature stabilize to an optimal level.
  6.  Listening to excessively loud volumes over extended periods of time can damage your hearing. Furthermore, legislation of certain countries permits a maximum sound level of 86dB to affect your hearing for 8 hours a day. We therefore recommend that you reduce the volume to a comfortable level when listening for prolonged periods of time. Please, take good care of your hearing.

The Razer Siren X requires minimum maintenance to keep it in optimum condition. Once a month  we recommend you unplug the device from the computer and clean it using a soft cloth or cotton to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: what mic arms work with this?
A: The Razer Seiren X uses a 5/8 thread mount to mount to it’s base. Some arms may need a 3/8 to 5/8 adapter in order to mount this microphone.
  • Q: Work for ps4?
A: Yes it does. I used it several times as a mic on my PS4. Just plugs into a USB port and you’re good to go.
  • Q: Could this be mounted to a boom stand?
A: Yes but you need an adapter
  • Q: Will this mic pick up sounds from speakers/keyboards that are on the same desk?
A: I use it no more than 8 inches away from my keyboard which is a razer black widow (loud AF) and ive never had that issue.
  • Q: What headphones work with this? I tried my apple earbuds but nothing comes through, then again im not sure because im not sure how to test it.
A: Although not specifically noted, it’s one that can connect to the Seiren’s 3.5m mm port.
  • Q: Does this need a special kind of pop filter and shock mount??
A: Razer states the X hs a built-in pop filter and shock mount. That being said, I picked up a cheap screen for $12, and will probably be getting a shock mount here soon (my rode arm is attached to the desk and sometimes you can hear desk hits/bumps) just for added measure.
  • Q: Can I use a USB headset with this microphone?
A: Yes, just make sure that the microphone settings on the device are set to use this mic and the audio out settings are set to the headset.
  • Q: Does it work with the ps5?
    A: yes
  • Q: Is the USB cable included?
    A: Yes
  • Q: Does this work with streamlabs obs?
A: Yes It will work will basically anything that you plug it into pc wise.
  • Q: Will this generate echo if I’m using this in Microsoft teams/skype calls with speakers (instead of headphones)?
    A: Yes, it will.
  • Q: How do you remove the pre-installed piece at the bottom?
    A: It should just unscrew
