Product Usage Instructions

Section A: Battery Firmware Upgrade

  1. Connect the Battery RS232/Console port to a laptop USB using
    the provided RJ45 DB9 USB cable.
  2. Ensure the PIN OUT on the RJ11/RJ45 side is correctly
    wired.
  3. Connect the cable to the battery Console Port. The Port Name
    will be automatically recognized once the RS232 cable is installed
    correctly.
  4. If the BatteryView software shows values, it indicates a
    successful connection. Take a screenshot for maintenance
    purposes.
  5. Choose the BMS Update and browse to select the firmware file
    for the upgrade.
  6. For specific product upgrades, select the correct firmware file
    based on the product model and version.
  7. Click Program to start the upgrade process. After the Serial
    Number is displayed, the update is finished.

Section B: Battery Data Acquirement

  1. Access the Data Window under Window(M) menu.
  2. Select data and click the green down arrow on the right side to
    acquire cycle data.
  3. Wait for about 1-2 minutes for BatteryView to acquire the data,
    then save it to a corresponding folder for record keeping.
  4. To acquire event data, select the event data option and follow
    the remaining steps. It is crucial to save event data in case of a
    failure.

Section C: Special settings for US2000C/US3000C/UP5000

  1. These settings are necessary after swapping the PCB of
    US2000C/US3000C/UP5000 and are available in Batteryview
    V3.0.22.
  2. Connect to the battery console port and navigate to Options
    > Coul write and mosfail set dialog.
  3. Type in a specific number based on the product model (50 for
    US2000C, 74 for US3000C, 100 for UP5000) and click Write. Click Set
    Mosfail test.
  4. In Control Panel settings, set Index number 0 to synchronize
    BMS time with your PC and Index number 2 to input the SN on the
    label.

For upgrade US2000B/US3000A/Force-L series product:

Please select the correct .bin file for the upgrade, by any version of Batteryview.

For upgrade US2000C/US3000C/UP5000:

If the 8th and 9th correct .bin file for the upgrade, by any version of Batteryview.

If the 8th and 9th of the product Serial Number is

, please select the

correct .zip file for the upgrade, and require to use Batteryview V3.0.28 or higher.

For upgrade US5000:

If the 8th and 9th of the product Serial Number is C5 , please select the correct .zip file for the upgrade, and require to use Batteryview V3.0.28 or higher.

*It`s suggested to always use the .zip file and Batteryview V3.0.28 for any US2000C/US3000C/UP5000/US5000 upgrade to avoid wrong upgrade caused PCBA damage. 7. And click Program to start:

Wait for about 1 2mins to let BatteryView acquire the entire cycle data. Then click the save button as below:

4. For event data acquirement, just select

data as below, then repeat the remain

steps from step 5 to step 6. It`s more critical to save the event data in case a failure.

Section C. Special settings for US2000C/US3000C/UP5000
Below settings only need to be set after swap the PCB of US2000C/US3000C/UP5000. Settings only available from Batteryview V3.0.22 1. Connect to battery console port 2. Choose-options-coul write and mosfail set dialog
Type in number If US2000C: 50 If US3000C: 74 If UP5000: 100
Click Write Click Set Mosfail test
