Enabling the TPM via the BIOS For AMD platforms

    •  Press to enter the BIOS Setup program at the system startup.
    •  Press to enter the Advanced Mode.
    •  Go to Settings > Security > Trusted Computing.
    •  Set Security Device Support to [Enable].msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 3
    •  Set AMD fTPM switch to [AMD CPU fTPM Disabled]msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 4

 

  •  Set Device Select to [TPM 2.0]msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 5

For Intel® platforms

    •  Press to enter the BIOS Setup program at the system startup.
    •  Press to enter the Advanced Mode.
    •  Go to Settings > Security > Trusted Computing.
    •  Set Security Device Support to [Enable].msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 6
    •  Set TPM Device Selection to [dTPM].msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 7

 

Clearing TPM from the BIOS

  • Press to enter the BIOS Setup program at the system startup.
  • Press to enter the Advanced Mode.
  • Go to Settings > Security > Trusted Computing.
  • Set Pending operation to [TPM Clear].msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 8

Clearing TPM from OS

    • Type tpm.msc in the search box next to the Start icon .
    • Click tpm.msc to enter TPM management.msi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 9
    • Click Clear TPM… under Actionsmsi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 10

 

  • Click Restart when a window pops upmsi TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module 10
