for Apple Find My
Instruction
- To use the Apple Find My app or Find Items app to locate this item, the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS or macOS is recommended.
- The product function button is located inside a small pinhole on the back. You can use a SIM card ejector tool or a paperclip to insert it all the way in to press the button. Specific functions and corresponding operations can be found in the table below.
- The anti-loss device is powered by a button cell battery, with an expected battery life of approximately 1 year. The battery can be replaced by removing the battery compartment cover yourself.
Button Funtion | Operating |
Power on/Pairing Mode | Long press the button until you hear 1 beep, then release it to power on and initiate pairing mode. |
View Serial Number | Long press the button until you hear 2 consecutive beeps, then release it to view the serial number in Find My. |
Power off / Disable Mode | Long press the button until you hear 3 consecutive beeps, then release it to power off. The product will not be locatable at this time. |
Restore | Long press the button until you hear a long beep, then release it to restore factory settings. You can then pair it with an Apple device again. |
Add GD10 to Find My
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to make the item discoverable.
- In the Find My app, tap, then choose Add Other Item.
- Tap Connect, type a name and select an emoji, then tap Continue.
- Tap Agree to register the item to your Apple ID, then tap Finish.
See the location of GD10
- Tap Items at the bottom of the screen, then tap the item you want to locate.
• If the item can be located: It appears on the map so you can see where it is. The location and timestamp appear below the item’s name. The item’s location i s updated when it connects to the Find My network.
•If the item can’t be located: You see where and when it was last located. Below Notifications, turn on Notify When Found. You receive a notification once it’s located again. - Tap Items at the bottom of the screen, then tap the item you want to get directions to.
- Tap Directions to open Maps.
- If CK20C is near you, back to Find My, tap Find, move follow the onscreen instructions.
- Tap the Play Sound button to play a sound on your GD10. When you locate it, tap the Close button.
Set separation alerts
- Tap Items at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the item you want to set an alert for.
- Below Notifications, tap Notify When Left Behind.
- Turn on Notify When Left Behind.
- If you want to add a Trusted Location, you can choose a suggested location, or tap New Location, select a location on the map, then tap Done.
- Tap Done.
Turn on Lost Mode
- Tap Items at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the lost item.
- Below Lost Mode, tap Enable.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to enter a phone number where you can be reached. To enter an email address instead, tap “Use an email address.”
- Tap Activate.
Remove from Find My
- Tap Items at the bottom of the screen, then tap the item you want to remove.
- Bring the item near your iPhone.
- Tap Remove Item, then follow the onscreen instructions.
- Long press the button until you hear a long beep, then release it to restore factory settings. You can then pair it with an Apple device again.
