CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Connect your Bluetooth keyboard to your P5 wireless controller via the controller 3.5mm jack.
2. Turn on your P5 system and P5 wireless controller.
3. Turn on the keyboard with the On/0ff switch – the blue indicator will light up.
4. Press and hold the Pairing Key for 3 seconds to begin pairing the device. The indicator will flash until pairing is complete.
5. On your P5 system, go to ‘Settings’, then ‘Devices’ then ‘Bluetooth Device’
6. Find the device named ‘JYS Bluetooth Keyboard’ and then select to pair.
7. Enter the passkey displayed by your console and then select it to pair with your controller.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

1. To type the symbols in pink, press and hold and the corresponding symbol key.
2. To type capital letters, press one and then the letter. Press this key to unlock this function.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

1. When the indicator flashes twice in blue this means the keyboard needs charging.
   Connect any micro USB charging cable [not included) to charge the device – the indicator turns red when charging and turns off once fully charged.
2. The Bluetooth pairing mode will stay active for 3 minutes.
3. When the Bluetooth connection is lost the keyboard will go into sleep mode. To deactive sleep mode simply press any key within the effective Bluetooth range.
4. The keyboard should be paired automatically with the PS console after the first pairing. If the re-connection fails, please follow the connection instructions to pair again.
5. In the P5 console setting (Setting — Device — Audio Devices –>Input Device –> Headset Connected to Controller), you can adjust the volume and microphone levels once the keyboard is inserted into the P5 controller via the earphone jack. This is only applicable if a headset with microphone function is connected to the 3.5mm audio output jack.
6. When you play game with Microphone function, please choose sound output to HOMI.
   In the PS console setting (Setting — Sound — Output to HOMI)
