WARNING

  • Never connect the Power Center to power outlet while hands are wet.
  • Cut off power and discontinue use if the unit was submersed or dampened by water.
  • Always leave a drip-loop in the power cord connected to the Power Center to prevent water from running down the length of the cord and reaching the power outlet.

CAUTION

  • Designed for indoor use only. Do not install or store the unit where it will be exposed to the weather.
  • This device should not be installed in wet or damp areas. Keep unit dry.
  •  For added safety. this device should be plugged into a grounded three-prong receptacle controlled by a GFI [Ground Fault Interrupter) circuit breaker

BATTERY INSTALLATION

  • Remove battery cover from back of timer. (1.0)
  • Remove battery seal and reinstall battery (“type LR44” Mercury Battery).
  • Replace battery cover onto the Power Center.
  • Plug Power Center into a grounded three-prong receptacle controlled by a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) circuit breaker.

SETTING DAY AND TIME

  • Hold down the CLK (clock) button and press:
  • DAY button to set the day of the week.

TIME CYCLE ON/OFF
Note: Yellow (daytime) and Blue (nighttime) outlets alt innate power, both outlets cannot be on at the same time – when Yellow (daytime) outlets are on, the Blue (nighttime) outlets are off, when the Yellow (daytime) outlets turn off, the Blue (nighttime) outlets are switched on automatically.

TIMER SETTINGS

  • Press PRG button once. Yellow (daytime) outlets on. (2.0)
    • a. time cycle: J ON
  • Press DAY button repeatedly and select desired day[s) that the Yellow (daytime) outlets will turn on. (2.1)
    • a. every day: MO TU WE TH FR SA SU
    • b. single days: WE
    • C. weekdays: MO TU WE TH FR
    • d. weekends: SASU
  •  Press HOUR and MIN buttons to set the time of day that the Yellow (daytime) outlets will turn on. (2.2)
  • Press PRG button once. Yellow (daytime) outlets off. (2.3) a. time cycle: J OFF
  • Press DAY button repeatedly and select desired day(s) that the Yellow [daytime) outlets will turn off. (2.4)
  • Press HOUR and MIN buttons to set the time of day that the Yellow (daytime) outlets will turn off. (2.5)
  • To set time cycle 2 – 7, repeat timer settings 1 – 6.
  • When timer settings are complete, press CLK button to exit timer setting program and return to clock display.

REVIEW/EDIT TIMER SETTINGS

  • Press the PRG button to check and display timer settings.
  • To change a time cycle setting, press the PRG button to display the incorrect time and press DAY, HOUR, and MIN to edit .
  • When settings are complete, press the CLK button to exit the timer setting program and return to the clock display

DELETING TIMER SETTINGS

  • Press the PRG button to check and display timer settings.
  • Locate the time cycle to be deleted.
  • Hold the MODE button down and press the PRG button to clear the time cycle

DIGITAL POWER CENTER INSTALLATION

  • Once time cycle[s) are set, mount a light fixture onto the aquarium [such as: Coralife Aqualight Deluxe Series).
  •  Plug fixture power cords into the Digital Power Center.
  • Plug Digital Power Center into a grounded three-prong recept.acle controlled by a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) circuit breaker.
  • Turn on the Digital Power Center On/Off switch [red light is visible when power is on).

Daytime light do not tum on.

  • a. Make sure the correct time & day is set on LCD display
  • b. Confirm that the timar is set to desired time and day when daytime lights will turn on and off
  • c. Verify that the mode is set to aut.o
  • d. Ensure that the digital power center plug is connected to a power source
  • e. Make sure that the digit.al power center switch is in the ON posit.on [red switch light is lit)
  • f. Make certain that the fixture is plugged into the power center end fixture switch in the on position

LCD Displacy screen power shuts dawn when unplugged.

  • a. Make sure to remove battery seal from the power center
  • b. Verify that the battery is properly oriented in the correct position
  • c. Battery may have become dislodged and must be repositioned
  • d. Battery may have expired, replace battery

Warranty

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS:
Central Aquatics (Company) warrants this product (see Exclusions below) to the original purchaser against defective material and workmanship that occurs during normal use for 12 months from the date of original purchase. Company will, at Company’s option, either repair or replace same without charge (but no cash refunds will be made).

EXCLUSIONS:

  • Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, subjecting the product to any but the specified electrical service, other than normal and ordinary use of the product, subjecting the product to abnormal working conditions or any other failure not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Damage resulting from modification, tampering with or attempted repair by anyone other than the Company.
  • Transfer of product to someone other than the original consumer purchaser.

WHAT YOU MUST DO TO ENFORCE WARRANTY:

  • WI 53132. Tel:(888)255-4527 to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.
  • NOTE: Be sure to provide contact information when requesting return authorization number.
  • Deliver, mail or ship the product, together with a copy of the original bill of sale to:

    • Franklin, WI 53132

You must pay any postage, shipping charges, insurance costs and other expenses to return the product to Central Aquatics, Franklin, WI 53132 However, if the necessary repairs are covered by the warranty, Company will pay the return shipping charges to any destination within the United States or Canada.

LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES:
THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT. THIS WRITING CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT OF THE PARTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SUBJECT MATTER HEREOF; NO WAIVER OR AMENDMENT SHALL BE VALID UNLESS IN WRITING SIGNED BY THE COMPANY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
