8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth Controller

Overview

• Press the Home button to turn on the controller.
• Hold the Home button for 3 seconds to turn off the controller.
• Hold the Home button for 8 seconds to force the controller off.

Switch

• System requirements: Switch 3.0.0 or above.
• NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, and notification LED are not supported.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Press the Home button to turn on the controller.
2. Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode, and the Status LED will start to blink rapidly (This is required for the very first time only).
3. Go to Switch’s Controller > Change Grip/Order, and wait for the connection.
4. The Status LED will remain solid to indicate a successful connection.

Wired Connection

• Ensure the System Setting > Controllers and Sensors > Pro Controller Wired Communication is turned on.
• Connect the controller to the USB port of your Switch and wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Switch to play.

Turbo Function

• D-pad, home button, left/right joysticks, and L4/R4 buttons are not supported.
• The turbo settings will not be saved permanently and will revert to default settings after the controller is powered off or disconnected.

Turbo Mode

• Turn on: Hold the button you would like to assign the turbo functionality, then press the Star button to enable the Turbo Mode, and the mapping indicator will blink rapidly.
• Turn off: Hold the button you would like to deactivate the turbo functionality, then press the Star button to disable the Turbo Mode, and the mapping indicator will turn off.

Auto Turbo Mode

• Turn on: Hold the button you would like to assign the turbo functionality, then press the Star button twice to enable the Turbo Mode, and the mapping indicator will blink rapidly.
• Turn off: Hold the button you would like to deactivate the turbo functionality, then press the Star button to disable the Turbo Mode, and the mapping indicator will turn off.

L4/R4 Configuration

• One button or multiple buttons on the controller can be remapped to the L4 / R4 button.
• Configuration on the left/right joysticks is not supported.
• The mapping indicator will blink continuously when the configured button is pressed.
• Hold the L4 / R4 button + the button you would like to configure, then press the Mapping button to complete the configuration. Repeat the same procedure to cancel the configuration.

Battery

• 15 hours of playtime with a 480mAh built-in battery pack, rechargeable with 1 to 2 hours of charging time.
  Status/LED indicator 
  • Low battery mode ———————> Red LED blinks
  • Battery charging ———————> Red LED stays solid
  • Battery fully charged ———————> Red LED turns off
• The controller will automatically shut down if it fails to connect within 1 minute of startup, or if there are no operations within 15 minutes after establishing a connection.
• The controller will not shut down during a wired connection.
