DocumentDocumentINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Power Flip Windshield: for Polaris Ranger® 1000 2753 Michigan Road · Madison, Indiana 47250 · 855-743-3427 - Do not discard packaging until product has been successfully installed. - Unless noted, do not completely tighten hardware when assembling. - SuperATV does not recommend keeping Windshield installed while transporting on an open air trailer. Remove or secure with straps. - This item is not returnable if the protective film has been removed. - Test fit to the cage to confirm fitment before removing film. Windshield Cleaning: - Do not use Rain-X®, Plexus® or any other protector, wax, or polish. - Do not use window cleaning fluids (Windex, 409, etc) or any solvents (gasoline, denatured alcohol, acetone, etc). - Never use abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or gritty cloths. - Do not use a windshield wiper blade or install a motorized windshield wiper - Never use razor blades, scrapers, squeegees, brushes, etc. 1. Thoroughly rinse Windshield to float off dirt and mud. 2. Using a soft cloth, or microfiber cloth, clean Windshield with warm water and a gentle detergent. Baby shampoo, rubbing alcohol, or hand washing soap can also be used. 3. To prevent water spots, use a chamois to blot Windshield dry. Liability Statement SuperATV's® products are designed to best fit user's ATV/UTV under stock conditions. Adding, modifying, or fabricating any factory or aftermarket parts will void any warranty provided by SuperATV® and is not recommended. SuperATV's® products could interfere with other aftermarket accessories. If user has aftermarket products on machine, contact SuperATV® to verify that they will work together. Although SuperATV® has thousands of satisfied customers, user should be aware that installing lift kits, long travel, or suspension kits, tires, etc. will change the ride of machine and may increase maintenance and part wear. Operating any off-road machine while, or after, consuming alcohol and/or drugs increases risk of bodily harm or death. No warranty or representation is made as to this product's ability to protect user from severe injury or death. SuperATV® urges operators and occupants to wear a helmet and appropriate riding gear at all times. By purchasing and installing SuperATV® products, user agrees that should damages occur, SuperATV® will not be held responsible for loss of time, use, labor fees, replacement parts, or freight charges. IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 3 Textured side of printed material, on Windshield, will face inside. To ease installation, soak Seal in hot water before cutting or installing to increase flexibility. - Install Bulb Seal to Windshield (A) in location shown. Bulb portion of Seal to face towards vehicle. - Install Gasket across front of Frame in location shown. remove Roof hardware and move off Frame Gasket IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 4 - Install Lower Frame (D) to Windshield (A) with hardware shown. (driver) D 5 each M6 x 25mm Sealing Washer M6 Nut Rubber must face plastic when installing Sealing Washers. - Install Top Frame (B), along with Right and Left Female Hinges (F-J), to Windshield (A) with hardware shown. F (passenger) M6 x 25mm Sealing Washer B M6 Nut 9 each J IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 5 - Install Left Bracket (K) to Windshield (A) with hardware shown. - Repeat for Right Bracket (C) installation. 5 each M6 x 25mm Sealing Washer M6 Nut K - Tighten hardware. IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 6 - Place assembly on machine. existing mounting holes in Frame - Insert Right Male Hinge (H) into Right Female Hinge (F). - Secure Right Male Hinge (H) to holes located in Frame with hardware shown. - Repeat for Left side. 2 each H F M8 x 25mm M8 Flat Washer M8 Nut (passenger) IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 7 - Align Windshield to machine and tighten Hinge hardware completely. - Windshield should open and close smoothly. See "Hinge Alignment" if binding occurs. Hinge Alignment Hinges to be in-line with each other. Loosen hardware and adjust as necessary. in-line Seal to be in contact with Dash - Tighten hardware. IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 8 - Install Actuator Brackets (L)(N) to Clamps (E) with hardware shown. - Secure Actuator (Q) with hardware shown. - Repeat for passenger side. - Tighten hardware. loosen Clamp (E) hardware L N E E M6 Nut Q 2x - Sleeve 2 each M8 x 25mm M8 Lock Washer M8 Flat Washer M6 x 30mm M6 Washer IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 9 - Secure Clamps (E) to Cage. - Repeat for passenger side. E (driver) IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 10 Remove Cup Holder. IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 11 - Secure Actuators (Q) to Right Bracket (K) and Left Bracket (C) with hardware shown. (driver) M6 Nut 2x - Sleeve M6 x 30mm Route to Cup Holder opening - Tighten all hardware. IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 12 Before drilling any holes, check behind area to be drilled for any interference. Switch Mounting: - User may install Switch in location different than shown. - Verify that Harnesses will reach Switch before mounting. - Remove stock Knockout or cut a new location. - Connect wiring and secure Switch. Mounting Slot: 1.41" .86" Before permanently mounting Switch, SuperATV recommends testing after all components have been installed. Dashboard Harness Switch - Secure Wires, from Actuators, to Cage; use provided Wire-Ties. - Reinstall Cup Holder. IN-PFWS-P-RAN1K 13
