Connectivity Options
Wired Connection
1. Insert the Type-C interface of the charging cable into the keyboard and connect the USB interface to your computer.
2. Rotate the mode switch to 'Wired Mode'. The mode indicator will flash once and then go out, indicating a successful connection. Note: In Type-C wired mode, the 'ON/OFF' switch has no function.
2.4G Wireless Connection
1. Turn the power switch to 'ON'.
2. Take out the receiver and insert it into a USB port on your computer.
3. Turn the mode rotary knob to the '2.4G' mode. The mode indicator will flash twice and then turn off, signifying a successful connection.
Bluetooth Connection
1. Turn the power switch to 'ON'. Turn the mode rotary knob to 'BT' mode. The mode indicator will flash three times and then go out.
2. To connect to BT1, long-press 'Fn' (blue) + 'Q' for 3-5 seconds. The corresponding indicator light will flash quickly, entering Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. On your computer or device, turn on Bluetooth, search for and select 'Y68 BT3.0' or 'Y68 BT5.0' (depending on your device's Bluetooth version) and initiate pairing until the connection is completed.
Note on Bluetooth versions:
- Windows 7 and earlier versions do not support Bluetooth 5.0.
- The device name for Bluetooth 3.0 is 'Y68 BT3.0'.
- The device name for Bluetooth 5.0 is 'Y68 BT5.0'.
Mode Switching and Layout Adjustment
Mode Switching Method
The keyboard supports 5 connection channels: BT1, BT2, BT3, 2.4G, and Wired. Multiple devices can be connected simultaneously.
- Mode Rotary Knob: Use the rotary knob to switch between Wired, 2.4G, and BT modes.
- Bluetooth Channel Switching: Press 'Fn' (blue) + 'Q', 'W', or 'E' to switch between Bluetooth channels BT1, BT2, and BT3 respectively.
iOS/Mac/Win Layout Switching
Short press the following key combinations to switch the system layout:
- Fn + W: Switches to Windows layout (default).
- Fn + E: Switches to Mac layout.
- Fn + R: Switches to iOS layout.
Charging Guide
- Low Voltage Reminder: The keyboard flashes red to indicate low voltage.
- Charging Process: Plug the Type-C cable into the keyboard and the USB into your computer. The indicator light will remain red during charging and turn green upon completion.
Notice: During charging, the 'ON/OFF' switch does not function, and power is supplied directly via the charging cable.
Shaft Replacement Method
- Use a keycap puller to remove the keycaps.
- Use a switch puller to remove the switch.
- Align the new switch with the corresponding slot on the keyboard.
- Place the new switch into the slot.
- Gently press the new switch to secure it in place.
- Install the keycap back onto the switch. The keyboard is now ready for use.
