4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation (D-Cell Batteries)

- Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off (refer to the display for battery level).
5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Simba On / Off uye Volume Control

5.2. Band Selection
Press the BAND button repeatedly to cycle through available bands: AM, FM, SW, and WB.

5.3. Tuning and Station Presets
The radio features digital tuning for precise frequency selection.
- Chinyorwa Kugadziridza: Use the tuning knob on the side to manually adjust the frequency.
- Kupinda Kwakananga Kwenguva Dzose: Use the number buttons (0-9) on the front panel to directly input a desired frequency.
- Automatic Scan: Dzvanya uye ubate iyo SCAN button to automatically search for and store available stations. The radio can preset up to 40 stations per band.

- Kupinda muPresets: Shandisa iyo P- uye P+ buttons to navigate through stored preset stations.

5.4. NOAA Weather Alert
When on the Weather Band (WB), the radio can automatically detect and alert you to hazardous weather conditions. Ensure the radio is powered on and tuned to a WB frequency for this feature to function.

5.5. Music Playback (USB/TF Card)
To play MP3 audio files:
- Insert a USB disk or TF (Micro SD) card containing MP3 files into the corresponding slot on the side of the radio.
- Press the MODE button to switch to USB or TF card playback mode.
- Use the track navigation buttons (|< uye >> |) to skip between songs.
- The number buttons can also be used to directly select track numbers.
5.6. Kurara Nguva
The sleep timer allows you to set the radio to automatically turn off after a specified period (0-90 minutes). Press the RARA button to activate and adjust the timer setting.
