Usage Instruction

Indicator Light Description

• Battery power 20% ~ 100%: blue light
• Battery power 10% ~ 20%: red light
• Battery power <10%: red light flashing

Remote Control Mounting

1. Clip with cold shoe mount installation: Through the clip with cold shoe mount, clamp the equipment with its built-in cold shoe.
2. 1/4″-20 screw installation: After removing the clip with the cold shoe mount, fix the remote control to the built-in 1/4″-20 threaded hole device via a 1/4″-20 screw.

Safety Instruction

Attention

1. Do not ingest the battery; it poses a chemical burn hazard. This product contains a button cell battery. If the button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and may lead to death.
2. Keep new and used batteries away from children.
3. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
4. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
5. The remote control connection procedure may vary from camera to camera; please refer to the remote control section in the camera manual for details.
6. The Bluetooth connection range of 100 cm / 32.8 in is an estimation, which depends on your surroundings.
7. A remote control can only be paired with one camera. If you need to control another camera, refer to the pairing procedure to pair the remote control with the camera you need to control, and the previous camera will be unpaired automatically.
8. After successful pairing, the camera and the remote control will connect automatically when the camera and remote control are switched on.
9. Please turn off the power switch when not in use.

SmallRig Up APP

1. Download the APP: You can download the “SmallRig Up” app from the App Store or Apple Store.
2. APP Purpose: The latest firmware for the remote controller can be downloaded and updated through the SmallRig Up app.
3. Note:
   1. Please ensure that the remote controller’s battery indicator light is blue and that your phone has sufficient battery before proceeding with the update.
   2. During the update process, do not press any buttons or switches on the remote controller.

After-sale Warranty Terms:
SmallRig products are entitled to warranty services from the date of payment.

• Electronic products (except V-mount batteries): 1-year warranty.
• V-mount battery: 2-year warranty.
• Non-electronic products: 2-year warranty
• Note: In case of any conflict between our warranty period policy and the applicable laws and regulations of the country/ region where the products are sold, the latter shall prevail.

This warranty does not cover:

• If users fail to adhere to the “Operating Instructions” or any “Warnings” stated in the user manual, resulting in a quality failure, it falls outside the scope of warranty coverage.
• The product identification or SN label is removed or defaced in any way.
• Product damage caused by problems not attributable to the quality of the products, such as improper use of the products.
• Product damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair, and other acts.
• Product damage caused by fires, floods, lightning, and other force majeure factors.

Warranty Mode:

• For products within the scope of warranty, SmallRig will repair or replace them based on specific failures; the repaired/replaced products/ parts are entitled to the remaining part of the original warranty period.
