Explore The Keyboard
This section provides an overview of the OMOTON Wireless Keyboard, model KB066.
Key Components:
- 1 ON/OFF switch: To turn the keyboard on or off.
- 2 Bluetooth pairing button: Used for establishing a Bluetooth connection.
- 3 Battery compartment: Located at the base of the keyboard for battery insertion.
- Bluetooth LED Indicator: Shows the status of the Bluetooth connection.
Getting Started:
- Switch the keyboard from OFF to ON.
- Press the 'Connect' button twice or press and hold for 2-3 seconds to initiate Bluetooth pairing.
- On your device, turn on Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'Bluetooth Keyboard' from the list of available devices.
- If prompted, enter the PIN code displayed on your device's screen and press the 'Enter' key.
- The keyboard will indicate connection status.
Hot Keys and Media Keys
The keyboard features several hot keys and media control keys for enhanced functionality:
- Home: Navigates to the home screen.
- Search: Opens the search function.
- Decrease Brightness: Reduces screen brightness.
- Increase Brightness: Increases screen brightness.
- Previous Track: Skips to the previous track.
- Play/Pause: Controls media playback.
- Next Track: Skips to the next track.
- Mute: Mutes audio output.
- Decrease Volume: Reduces audio volume.
- Increase Volume: Increases audio volume.
- Screenshot: Captures a screenshot of the current screen.
- Virtual Keyboard Lock/Unlock: Toggles the on-screen keyboard.

Replacing Batteries
To replace the batteries:
- Lift the battery compartment cover upwards and off the keyboard base.
- Insert two new AAA batteries (not included).
- Reattach the battery compartment cover securely.
Power Management
Power Saving Mode
The keyboard automatically enters sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve power. To reactivate it, press any key and wait for approximately 3 seconds.
Compatible System
This keyboard is compatible with systems running iOS 9.1 or newer.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues connecting or using the Bluetooth keyboard, try the following steps:
- Ensure your device has Bluetooth enabled.
- Restart your device and attempt to pair again.
- Install fresh batteries and try pairing again.
- Disconnect the keyboard from other Bluetooth devices on your system and try pairing again.
- Check for and install any available updates for your device's Bluetooth software.
- Verify that the keyboard is within the optimal Bluetooth range of 10 meters (33 feet) from your device.
