NUUO Crystal™ Performance Guide
The Performance Guide provides performance test results for individual Recording Server, Metadata Server, IVS Server, and NuClient display. This guide aims to assist users in designing system architecture. The NUUO Calculator (http://nucalculator.nuuo.com/) is also a valuable tool for project design.
This guide is for reference only. Actual server performance in the field depends on video source, network environment, and various other variables. Updated parts are marked as yellow and tested in RAID 6.
Recording Server
The following presents performance results for systems with a single volume in RAID 5 or RAID 6. The system operates live view, playback, record, and recycle simultaneously, but does not perform backup. The recording throughput of CT-8000R/CT-8000RP can reach 200 Mbps even with a single 5900 RPM HDD. The tables below detail Crystal Titan's optimal use cases.

IVS Server
The following presents performance test results for IVS services. IVS requires a 2nd or 3rd stream for analysis to allow for more IVS channels. Frame rate is crucial; a lower frame rate can increase IVS channels.
