Vodnik za namestitev

1. Prepare the Pitcher

Before first use, wash the pitcher base, filter reservoir, and lid with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the filter with soap.

2. Prepare the Brita Standard Filter

Remove the filter from its packaging. Submerge the filter in cold water for 15 seconds to remove any air bubbles. This primes the filter for optimal performance.

3. Vstavite filter

Align the groove on the filter with the ridge in the filter reservoir. Insert the filter firmly into the reservoir until it clicks into place. Ensure a snug fit to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.

4. Assemble the Pitcher

Place the assembled filter reservoir into the pitcher base. Position the lid on top of the reservoir and press down firmly until it is securely seated.

5. Flush the Filter

Fill the reservoir with cold tap water. Allow the water to filter through completely. Discard the first three pitchers of filtered water, or use them for watering plants, as this helps to flush out any loose carbon particles and prepare the filter for drinking.

Zamenjava filtra

The SmartLight filter indicator on the lid will flash to remind you when it's time to change your filter. A green light indicates good filter life, yellow indicates it's time to order a new filter, and red indicates the filter needs to be replaced.

Standard filters should be replaced approximately every 2 months or after filtering 40 gallons of water. Elite filters, if used, last approximately 6 months or 120 gallons.

To replace, remove the lid and the filter reservoir. Pull out the old filter and dispose of it. Follow the "Prepare the Brita Standard Filter" and "Insert the Filter" steps from the Setup Guide for the new filter.

Odpravljanje težav

Slow Filtration

If water filters slowly, ensure the filter is properly seated in the reservoir. Remove and reinsert the filter, ensuring a tight seal. If the issue persists, the filter may be clogged and require replacement.

Unusual Taste or Odor

If filtered water has an unusual taste or odor, ensure the filter was properly flushed during initial setup. Replace the filter if it has exceeded its recommended lifespan or if the taste/odor persists after flushing.

SmartLight Indicator Not Working

The SmartLight indicator is battery-operated. If it's not functioning, the battery may be depleted. Refer to the full user manual for instructions on resetting or troubleshooting the indicator.
