Product Usage Instructions

Charging the SKYTAG Card:

To charge the SKYTAG card, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the SKYTAG card is turned ON.
  2. Connect a DC 5V/1A adaptor compliant with Directive 2014/30/EU  to the SKYTAG card.
  3. Wait for prompts to complete the pairing process.
  4. Note: The tag will turn OFF if not paired within 10 minutes.

Finding the Serial Number of SKYTAG Card:

To find the serial number of the SKYTAG card, you can use either of the following methods:

  1. In FindMy App:
    1. Open the Find My app.
    2. Tap on Items.
    3. Find the SKYTAG Card and tap on its name.
    4. The serial number will appear under the name.
  2. On the SKYTAG Card:
    1. Locate the serial number printed under the SKYTAG logo on the card.

Q: Does the SKYTAG card come with an AC/DC adapter?

A: No, the product does not come with an AC/DC adapter. You need to purchase a DC 5V/1A adaptor compliant with Directive 2014/30/EU separately for charging.

Q: What happens if the SKYTAG card is not paired within 10 minutes?

A: The tag will turn OFF automatically if not paired within 10 minutes to conserve battery power.

  • Connect the charging cable to the card for charging,
  • Charge the Card for, at least, 2 hours, when using it for the first time
  • The LED flashes when charging.
  • When fully charged, the LED is always on.

Enable pairing mode

  • Press the button once. The LED is flashing, indicating that the card is ready for pairing.
    (Remark: The tag will turn OFF if not pair within 10 mins)
  • From IOS device, launch Find My.
  • Under “Items”, select Add Item.
  • Select “Other Supported Item”. Your device will now search for “SKYTAG Card”
  • As soon as you see the “SKYTAG Card” display on your device, tap and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

Factory reset

  • Press the button 3 times and on the fourth time press and hold the button.
  • A confirmation tone is heard.
  • The LED is flashing. The Card is in pairing mode until it is paired.
    (Remark: The tag will turn OFF if not pair within 10 mins)

Instructions for disabling

  • Press the button 2 times and on the third time press and hold the button.
  • Press and hold the button for 5 secs. A confirmation beep can be heard. The LED shall turn off after a while. This will stop sharing the location of this card.

How to find the serial number of SKYTAG Card

  • Open the Find My app.
  • Tap Items.
  • Find the SKYTAG Card and tap the name of the SKYTAG Card.
  • The serial number appears under the name.

On the SKYTAG Card.

  • Find the serial number printed under the SKYTAG logo.
