Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the maximum power consumption of the device?

A: The device has a maximum power consumption of 0.5A.

Q: What is the purpose of potential contacts 1-8?

A: Potential contacts 1-8 are used for controlling and monitoring specific functions of the device.

The PS-10 230 is a thermostatic valve controller dedicated for underfloor heating system. Is equipped with:

  • 9 x voltage outputs (8 outputs dedicated to support thermostatic actuators and 1 output dedicated as pump)
  • 1 x voltage-free contact
  • 2 x Two-state inputs
The operating conditions of individual devices connected to the controller are programmed in the Sinum Central device. It is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail. It communicates with the Sinum central device using radio signal.

Manual mode

In order to switch to the manual operation mode, press the manual operation button 1. The registration button 2 is used to switch between the controlled outputs in the manual mode. Using the button 1 (pressing it once), the user forces a change of the status (ON / OFF) – if the process has been successful, it is confirmed by a light signal from the LED labelled 1-8. When the manual mode is on, it is impossible to control the contact via the website or the application. To disable the manual mode, press the button 1 again and hold it for 1-2 seconds. Once the manual mode has been switched off, all the output status LEDs go off and resume the state set in the Sinum application.

How to register the device in the sinum system

  • When registering the device, it is recommended to use the heating creator. To run the creator, enter the address of the Sinum Central device in the browser and log in to the device. In the main panel, click the Settings > System > Heating creator for PS-10/PS-10m and after starting it, add the device by clicking the registration button 2 at the right moment. Then follow the creator to create virtual thermostats, among other things.
  • The device can be registered also by going to Settings > Devices > Wireless devices > +, then briefly press the registration button 2 on the device. Each two-state input and voltage output will be added separately, in addition, virtual thermostats must be created and assigned to the appropriate room.
