This guide applies to the documented ten-character serial ending in J. Older, different or unreadable formats need manufacturer confirmation; an unmatched serial does not establish authenticity or age.
The manufacturer defines calendar week and Monday=1 through Saturday=6, but does not establish an ISO week-one convention. Year, week and weekday are shown without inventing an exact date or month. Sunday code 7 is not documented in this guide and is not decoded.
The four sequence digits identify daily manufacturing order, not a batch quantity, lifetime production total or a unique model.
The serial does not identify capacity, refrigerant, voltage, exact model or factory location. J identifies Oxbox; it is not a verified plant code. Use the separate model label for manual search.
Manufacture information is distinct from installation, purchase and warranty dates. Confirm warranty status and eligibility with the official Oxbox warranty lookup.

Documented Oxbox YYWWDNNNNJ equipment serial; reviewed support begins with the 2019 example.
YY is the manufacturing year in the reviewed 2019-onward era; WW is the calendar week; D follows Monday=1 through Saturday=6. The four sequence digits are daily manufacturing order and retain leading zeros. J identifies Oxbox. The guide does not define ISO week one, an exact Gregorian date, a model, plant or production total. Calendar-week validation supports 01–53 without asserting which years use week 53. Other weekday codes or formats need confirmation.

Oxbox lookup questions
Why does the year code match more than one year?
Some systems reuse letters or only encode the last one or two year digits. Every supported interpretation is retained. A decade supplied from reliable records can narrow the reading; the tool does not automatically pick the newest year.
Does the serial identify my exact model?
Usually the model is a separate plate field. Where published serial ranges actually identify a model, the result shows model candidates and links to their manuals. Overlapping ranges remain ambiguous.
Can I share the result?
After a lookup, the address includes the serial in a fragment beginning with #serial=. Use “Copy share link” to share the serial and selected context. Opening the link runs the same lookup. The fragment is not a query-string result page.
