Cleveland Serial Number Lookup: Parts & Warranty Records
Check available equipment records for compatible parts and warranty information. Read the documented serial formats for your equipment and find its manual.
Request the available supplier record for this serial. Returned replacement parts describe components; they do not identify the complete equipment model.
Find the equipment label
Serial formats and source limits
Use the field explicitly marked serial number on the equipment data plate. Check the specific model manual for its location; the captured source does not establish one universal position.
The guide distinguishes a WC/WT-prefixed historic layout from a normally 13-digit newer layout. The brand-page error text instead says 12 digits.
Formats described by the source
Before December 2008: WC or WT, a batch identifier, two-digit year plus A–L month, then unit identifier.
After December 2008: the guide normally describes 13 digits, with YYMM first, four location digits and a five-digit sequence.
Read these alongside the source limits below. A source-described format does not establish an automatic decoding rule for every product.
Serial dates and format matches do not establish current warranty coverage, purchase date, authenticity or ownership.
A missing equipment records result does not establish an invalid serial number; manufacturer and model coverage vary.
The brand-page 12-digit message conflicts with the guide’s normally 13-digit modern format. Preserve raw input and do not reject historic WC/WT serials from the form text alone.
A matching format is not an authenticity, warranty, service-life or condition verdict. Use the actual product label and model-specific manufacturer documentation.
Sequence/counter fields are identifiers, not production quantity. Separate label fields for model, voltage, gas, refrigerant and capacity are not automatically decoded from a serial.
This is a reviewed 2000s-century system, not a claim that every historic Cleveland label uses it. Other location codes remain unsupported.
The live official search can return model/item details from manufacturer records, which cannot be derived locally from the opaque unit sequence.
Find the complete serial and any separately labelled date, product or model code. Compare your device with the matching product family below.

Read the full serial and the separately printed model.
The site’s help link currently points back to this same page; its serial illustration is a label example, not a demonstrated universal physical location.
Cleveland twelve-digit year/month and location system
The exact twelve-digit format currently documented by Cleveland Parts Factor.
The manufacturer explicitly gives25=2025 and110523053393=May2011Concord. Locations are chart-level cities, not a verified factory building or current headquarters. Last four digits auto-increment for the unit; no complete model or production quantity is encoded.
Understanding the record
Cleveland lookup questions
Does a returned part identify my equipment model?
A compatible replacement part is a component and can fit several equipment models. An equipment model is shown only if the record explicitly identifies it. You can enter the model printed on your unit to search its manuals independently.
Do warranty dates guarantee free service?
The lookup displays warranty fields available for the serial. Dates alone do not establish entitlement: parts, labor, installation, geography and purchase requirements can differ. Confirm coverage with the manufacturer before arranging service.
Can I share a lookup?
Use “Copy share link” after a lookup. The serial and optional model appear after #serial= in the URL. Anyone with that link can repeat the lookup and see those details.
What if no record is available?
Check letters, leading zeros and meaningful hyphens. Use the manufacturer’s support and model-specific manual. A database coverage gap and a temporary service failure are different results.
