Lumens LC100 Installation Guide
This guide provides instructions for installing and setting up the Lumens LC100 video switcher.

1. Introduction of Product Functions
1.1 Front View
The front panel features controls and indicators:
- LCM: Display Menu and Information
- Knob: LCM knob for navigation
- Record: Start/Stop recording
- Stream: On/Off image streaming
- Scene: Switch templates
- Power: On/Off the device power
- Single Channel: Display a single channel screen
- PIP: Switch to Picture-in-Picture mode
- PBP: Switch to Picture-by-Picture mode
- SWAP: Switch signal channels
1.2 Back View
The back panel provides various input/output and control ports:
- [16] DC IN 12V: DC 12V power connector
- [17] Input 1: Supports HDMI Input 1 and 3G-SDI Input 1, HDMI Passthrough
- [18] Input 2: Supports HDMI Input 2 and 3G-SDI Input 2
- [19] Output: PGM (Main screen output for recording/streaming/layout) and Multiview (Operation interface output for settings/image management)
- [20] USB 3.0 ports (x3), USB 2.0 port (x1): Support USB video/audio devices, external storage disks, keyboards/mice, and the optional LC-RC01 controller.
- [21] Ethernet: Connect to LAN

2. Product Connection Diagram
The LC100 connects to various devices for video and audio processing. Typical connections include:
- Displays: Connect to 'Display (Program)' and 'Display (MultiView)' outputs.
- Network: Connect to a 'Router' via the Ethernet port for internet connectivity.
- Audio: Connect 'Speaker/Amplifier' to 'Audio Out', and 'MIC/Audio mixer' or 'Music Player' to 'XLR audio in' or 'Line In/Out'.
- Video Sources: Connect 'Document Camera', 'IP Camera', 'Box Camera', or 'Computer' to 'Input 1' or 'Input 2' (HDMI/SDI).
- Control: Connect 'AV Control Equipment' to the 'RS-232/RS-485 Control' port.
- External Devices: Connect 'External USB device' (like storage) to USB ports.
3. Precautions Prior to Use
- Confirm if the purchased version includes a hard drive. If not, purchase one for installation.
- The LC100 supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives.
- If no hard drive is installed, use a USB disk for external storage.
4. Hard drive installation steps
- Remove the top cover by unscrewing the 5 screws [screw] [screw] [screw] [screw] [screw].
- Loosen the indicated screws on the chassis.
- Attach your hard drive to the connection cable. Ensure the port and the L-shaped slot of the cable are aligned before insertion. Do not force the connection to avoid damaging the port.
- Fasten the hard disk to the metal plate with the provided screws (4 pcs).

- Lock the hard drive mounting plate in place and insert the connection cable.
- Close the top cover to complete the installation.
4.7 Hard drive setting
After installation, log in to the web page. Navigate to Storage Setting > Hard Disk Information to format the drive.
* Formatting the drive will erase all existing data on the disk.

Connect the HDMI1 MultiView output to a monitor to display the real-time operation menu.
The menu includes:
- [1] Configuration: Configure network settings and recording/streaming quality.
- [2] Director: Control video and audio inputs, audio feeds, recording, streaming, and network video cameras.
- [3] File Management: Transfer, upload, download, delete, and play back video files.
- [4] About: Display the current LC100 firmware version.
- [5] Device IP: Display the device's network IP address.
6. Web Interface
6.1 Confirm the IP address of the device
Connect the LC100 to a router. Note the IP address of the device, which is visible in the lower right corner of the HDMI MultiView output screen.
6.2 Access the Web Interface
Input the device's IP address into a web browser (e.g., http://192.168.100.100).
6.3 Login
Enter the account and password to log in. The default credentials are:

The web interface allows access to File Manager, MultiView interface, and system settings.

Follow these steps to access the Director Tab:
- On the MultiView interface, select 'Director'.
- Log in to the web page using the online Director Casting Account/Password (default setting:
director/director).
The Director Tab provides controls for managing video and audio streams:
- Channel: Select input sources (HDMI, USB camera, IP camera, IP streams).
- REC: Start or stop recording; select options to synchronously stream. Displays recording status and progress bar.
- Audio: Manage input and output audio sources and adjust recording volume.
- Scenes: Select production layouts, customize backgrounds, and theme styles.
- Camera Control: Provide IP video camera/PTZ control, including zoom, focus, pan/tilt speed, and preset selection.
The interface also shows the 'Main Screen Output' displaying the program video and a 'Recording Progress Bar' indicating streaming/recording status and hard disk capacity.
