Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts.This filter unit must be replaced every 6 months, at the rated capacity, or sooner if reduced water flow occurs. Cierre el suministro de agua. Locate a convenient location behind refrigerator where you can install the filter on 1/4" tubing. Please ensure that the edges of the tube are cut clean, square cut and free of sharp burrs. DO NOT cut the tubing at an angle as it may cause the unit to leak during use. Note: The incoming water should be routed to the inlet (larger end of filter) and the filtered water should be coming from the outlet (smaller end of filter). Run water from the water and ice dispenser periodically to clear the system and to receive a good flow for approximately 5 minutes. If the water flow is slower than usual, please repeat Step 4. Note: Initial flow rate may be slower than expected. Full flow rate should be restored within 24-36 hours. Firmly insert tubing into the outlet side of the filter. Make sure to install the tubing firmly until the tubing bottoms out. Turn on the water supply and inspect the filter for leaks.
