1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, read and follow all instructions and warnings carefully before use.

• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces other than those intended for cleaning.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children, pets, or plants.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only Tineco recommended attachments.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up toxic material (e.g., chlorine bleach, ammonia cleaner, drain cleaner).
• Do not use without filter in place.
• If the appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
• Always turn off the appliance before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the appliance.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

1. Carefully unpack all components from the box.
2. Insert the handle into the main body of the vacuum cleaner until it clicks securely into place.
3. Ensure the clean water tank and dirty water tank are correctly installed.

4.2 Charging

1. Place the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist on its drying and charging station.
2. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a wall outlet.
3. The LED display on the handle will indicate the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours.

4.3 Filling the Clean Water Tank

1. Remove the clean water tank from the back of the main unit.
2. Open the tank cap and fill it with clean tap water. For optimal cleaning results, you may add a small amount of Tineco cleaning solution (included). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
3. Close the tank cap securely and reinsert the clean water tank into the main unit until it clicks.

5. Operation

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the handle to turn the device on or off. The LED display will illuminate upon startup.

5.2 Cleaning Modes

The Tineco Floor One S9 Artist offers multiple cleaning modes to suit different needs:

• Auto Mode: The default mode. The iLOOP Smart Sensor automatically detects the dirt level and adjusts suction power and water flow accordingly for efficient cleaning.
• Max Mode: Provides maximum suction and water flow for heavily soiled areas or stubborn stains.
• Suction Mode: Designed for vacuuming liquids without dispensing water, ideal for spills.

5.3 Powerful Suction and iLOOP Smart Sensor

The Floor One S9 Artist delivers a powerful 22kPa suction, effectively removing wet and dry debris. The integrated iLOOP Smart Sensor continuously monitors the floor's dirt level, automatically optimizing suction power and water flow for a precise and efficient clean.

5.4 SmoothDrive Technology

Experience effortless maneuverability with 360° omnidirectional propulsion. The SmoothDrive technology assists in moving the vacuum forward and backward, reducing the physical effort required during cleaning.

5.5 180° Lay-Flat Design

The ultra-slim 180° lay-flat design allows the Floor One S9 Artist to easily reach under low furniture, beds, and tight spaces, ensuring no hidden dirt is left behind.

5.6 Dual-Edge Cleaning and Anti-Tangle Design

The Floor One S9 Artist features dual-edge cleaning, allowing it to clean right up to baseboards and corners on both sides of the brush head. The DualBlock Anti-Tangle design prevents hair from wrapping around the brush roll, ensuring consistent cleaning performance.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Tineco Floor One S9 Artist.

6.1 FlashDry Self-Cleaning Cycle

After each use, it is highly recommended to run the FlashDry self-cleaning cycle. This process cleans the brush roll and internal tubing with hot water and then dries them with 85°C hot air, preventing odors and ensuring hygiene.

1. Place the vacuum cleaner on its charging station.
2. Ensure the clean water tank has sufficient water and the dirty water tank is empty.
3. Press the self-cleaning button (refer to your device's specific button layout if not on the display).
4. The cycle will automatically begin, indicated on the LED display. The drying phase takes approximately 5 minutes.

6.2 Emptying the Dirty Water Tank

After each cleaning session or when the dirty water tank is full, it must be emptied and rinsed.

1. Press the release button to remove the dirty water tank from the main unit.
2. Carefully open the tank and dispose of the dirty water.
3. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
4. Reinstall the empty dirty water tank into the main unit.

6.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll and Filter

Even with self-cleaning, periodic manual cleaning of the brush roll and filter is recommended.

• Remove the brush roll cover and then the brush roll. Rinse it under running water until clean. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation.
• Remove the dry filter from the dirty water tank. Tap it gently to remove loose debris, then rinse it under running water. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back.
