IQC Checking
IQC timeout at 8 AM daily

| Power on the h 232 | Press Control Test | Insert the IQC test strips (Low and High) |
 | ||
| The measurement begins automatically | The result is displayed as Pass or Fail | Return the test strip quickly back into the container |
■ Daily Cleaning (70% alcohol)
 | ||
| A) Clean the meter surface with moistened tissue B) Remove and wipe the green cover | Clean the inside area with cotton swab | * Be gentle & caution when cleaning the detection window on the side |
Routine Testing
 | ||
| Use heparinized venous whole blood only | Gently swirl the tube for 10 times | Power on the h 232 |
 | ||
| Press the “Patient Test” Button | Enter or scan the patient ID | Insert the test strip |
 | ||
| The test strip will warm up automatically | Draw exactly 150 μL sample using a Roche CARDIAC Pipette in between the 2 blue arrows | Apply the sample within 5 minutes. Then press the check button.* |
* Hold the pipette vertically over the sample application area. Slowly apply the sample to avoid spillage and losing of samples.
The Roche CARDIAC Pipette tip should not touch the sample application area of the test strip.
