1. Configurare

1.2 Instalarea bateriei

The PNI Escort HP 82 uses a 7.4V 1800mAh Li-Ion battery. To install the battery:

1. Localizați capacul compartimentului bateriei pe spatele radioului.
2. Use a coin or a flat tool to unscrew the retaining screw and remove the cover.
3. Insert the Li-Ion battery into the compartment, ensuring the contacts align correctly.

1.3 Conectarea antenei

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and the LCD display. The display shows the current channel, frequency, selected mode (AM/FM), and various function indicators.

2.2 Multi-Standard Operation

The PNI Escort HP 82 supports 7 different frequency standards used in various European countries. The default standard is 'EU' (40 channels, AM/FM). To change the standard, refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual.

The TOT function limits the maximum transmission time to prevent accidental continuous transmission and potential overheating of the radio. If the transmission exceeds the set time, the radio will automatically stop transmitting.
