1. Introducere

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Hudson Valley Lighting MDS201-PN Transitional Four-Light Semi-Flush Mount fixture. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning installation and retain this manual for future reference. This fixture is designed for indoor use only.

4. Instrucțiuni de instalare

It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified electrician. Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning installation.

1. Opriți alimentarea: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that supplies power to the fixture location and turn off the power.
2. Pregătirea montajului: Carefully unpack the fixture and its components. Attach the mounting bracket (included in hardware kit) to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
3. Faceți conexiuni electrice:
   • Conectați firul de cupru gol sau firul de împământare verde de la dispozitivul de iluminat la firul de împământare de la cutia de joncțiune (de obicei cupru gol sau verde) folosind o piuliță de sârmă.

   • Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Wrap electrical tape around wire nuts for added security.
4. Fixare sigură: Carefully lift the fixture and align the mounting holes on the fixture canopy with the screws on the mounting bracket. Secure the fixture to the mounting bracket using the decorative nuts or screws provided.
5. Instalați becuri: Insert four (4) E12 base incandescent bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 60 watts per bulb.
6. Install Glass Components: Carefully attach the clear glass rods or shade components to the fixture according to the specific design. Handle glass with care to prevent breakage.
7. Restabiliți puterea: După ce instalarea este finalizată și toate componentele sunt fixate în siguranță, restabiliți alimentarea cu energie electrică la întrerupătorul de circuit.

5. Instrucțiuni de utilizare

This Hudson Valley Lighting fixture is designed for simple operation. Once properly installed and powered, the fixture is controlled by a standard wall switch (not included) connected to the electrical circuit. Flip the wall switch to the 'ON' position to illuminate the fixture and to the 'OFF' position to turn it off.

• curatenie: To clean the fixture, ensure power is turned off. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the metal finish and glass components. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or glass.
• Înlocuire bec: Before replacing bulbs, turn off power at the circuit breaker and allow bulbs to cool completely. Unscrew old bulbs and replace with new E12 base incandescent bulbs, not exceeding 60 watts per bulb.

7. Depanare

If your fixture is not functioning correctly, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:

• Fixture Does Not Illuminate:
  • Ensure the power supply is turned on at the circuit breaker.

  • Check that all bulbs are correctly installed and are not burnt out. Replace any faulty bulbs.
