1. Introducere

The NETGEAR WN3000RP Universal WiFi Range Extender is designed to expand the coverage of your existing wireless network. It helps eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones and improve signal strength in areas with weak connectivity, giving you the freedom to roam anywhere in your home or office and access the internet without interruption. This compact device plugs directly into an electrical outlet, minimizing clutter and integrating seamlessly into any environment. It is compatible with wireless b/g/n routers, gateways, and Internet service provider devices, supporting a voltage gama de 100-240V.

3. Hardware terminatview

4. Configurare

There are two primary methods to set up your NETGEAR WN3000RP Universal WiFi Range Extender: using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) or through a web browser.

4.1. Setup using WPS (Recommended)

1. Conectați extensia: Plug the range extender into an electrical outlet in the same room as your Wi-Fi router.
2. Așteptați LED-ul de alimentare: Wait for the Power LED on the extender to turn solid green.
3. Apăsați WPS pe extender: Press the WPS button on your range extender. The WPS LED will start blinking.

5. Verificați conexiunea: Once connected, the Router Link LED on the extender will turn solid green. This indicates a successful connection between the extender and your router.
6. Mutați extensia: Unplug the extender and move it to a new location that is approximately halfway between your router and the area with poor Wi-Fi coverage. Ensure the Router Link LED remains solid green after plugging it in at the new location. If it's amber or off, move it closer to the router.

4.2. Configurare folosind un Web Browser

5. Operating Your Range Extender

Once your NETGEAR WN3000RP is set up, it will automatically extend your Wi-Fi network. Devices can connect to the extended network just as they would to your main router.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your range extender, follow these maintenance guidelines:
