What is the difference between a tankless water heater and a traditional tank water heater?

A tankless water heater is a device that heats water as it is needed. It does not store any water, so it is not necessary to wait for the entire tank to heat up before using hot water. Tankless water heaters are more efficient and more environmentally friendly than traditional storage tank water heaters.

How much does a tankless water heater cost?

The cost of a tankless water heater depends on the size of the unit, the brand of the unit, and whether or not you choose to install it yoursel

Where should I install my tankless water heater?

You can install your tankless water heater in any location that has access to cold-water supply lines and an electrical outlet. You will need about 3 feet of space around your unit for installation.

How do I install my own tankless water heater?

Installing a tankless water heater yourself can be done if you have basic plumbing skills and some mechanical knowledge. The process is similar to installing a traditional storage-tank hot-water heater. You will need to shut off your home’s main gas supply line while you are installing your new unit.

Can it continue to supply hot water in a small house with 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 cloth washer?

It depends on where you live. The warmer your water is coming into your home, the more hot water you can produce. The colder water that comes in, the less hot water you can make.

How does it attach to wall?

There are 4 key hole slots inside. Cover comes off then you attach using screws. Mine went in the basement and I used masonry screws to affix to block wall.

Does it need mounting bracket?

No, it came with everything that was needed to mount it on the wall. We did have to purchase the heavy duty wire necessary to connect it to our electrical system. By the way, we are extremely pleased with this tankless water heater!
