  • How does this connect to two cameras front and rear at the same time or do you need two sets?
The rear camera is connected to the front camera and the power cord is plugged in to the front camera. This requires the power cord only.
  • Does this fit the V5?
Yes, it fits with the V5.
  • I can’t get the parking mode to enable for my v1p. the red and yellow are hooked properly, as it wouldn’t turn on otherwise. what could be wrong?
If the wires are hooked properly, check the settings of your dashcam.
  • Does this work for the Honda civic hatchback sport 2019?
Yes, this kit works with any 12V vehicle.
  • Does this not come with the Sensor that it is sold with?
No, the camera has the sensor.
  • For the parking monitor to work the camera must still be getting some power. My question is, should I be worried about a dead battery?
No, because the smart kit cuts the voltage supply to the battery if the battery level drops below 11.8 volts
  • Why do I need 2 hot wires for this version instead 1 red and 1 blue?
One hot wire is for providing constant power which is used for the parking doe and the other hot wire is used to power the unit, when the ignition of the car is turned on.
  • Does this work with the V1 Basic?
No, it doesn’t work with V1 Basic.
