Getting Started
1.1 System Requirements
Before using the keyboard, ensure that your device meets the following system requirements:
- iOS: Version 9.0 and above
- Android: Version 4.0 and above
- Windows: Version 10 and above
1.2 Buttons and Power Setup
- Install Batteries:
• Insert 2 AAA batteries into the compartment on the bottom of the keyboard.
• Only use alkaline batteries for a long life. - Power On/Off:
Use the on/Off slider switch located on the Bottom side of the keyboard to turn it on or off. Slide it to “On” to power the device, and to “Off” when not in use to conserve battery.
1.3 Bluetooth Mode Pairing
Follow these steps to pair the keyboard with your device via Bluetooth:
- Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the
Bluetooth key together for 2-3 seconds. The Blue LED will start flashing quickly, indicating the keyboard has entered Bluetooth Pairing Mode.
- Search for the Keyboard:
On your device (phone, tablet, or computer), go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices. Select “Rehan Keyboard” from the list to initiate the connection. - Successful Pairing:
Once the Blue LED stops flashing, the keyboard is successfully connected to your device, and it is ready for use.
1.4 2.4G Wireless Mode Connection
Follow these steps to switch to and pair the keyboard in 2.4G wireless working mode:
- Insert the USB receiver (dongle) into the USB port of your device.
- Enter 2.4G Mode:
Press 2.4G together to switch to 2.4G wireless mode. LED will turn RED.
Note: If the keyboard does not enter 2.4G wireless mode, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Press and hold 2.4G for 3-5 seconds. The keyboard will enter pairing mode with the USB dongle. The red LED will start flashing.
Step 2: While the red LED is flashing, insert the USB receiver (dongle) into the USB port of your device and take keyboard close to USB dongle.
Step 3: When the keyboard and USB receiver are paired successfully, the red LED will turn off, indicating a successful connection.
Note : Ensure the operating system’s keyboard layout matches the physical keyboard layout (e.g., select the German layout if using a German keyboard).

Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not pairing: Check Bluetooth is on, and the battery is charged, Clear the keyboard pairing history on your devices and try pairing again.
- Connection drops: Keep keyboard within range, check for interference, and reset Bluetooth.
- Keys not working: Check batteries, clear any obstructions, and restart the keyboard. The LED will blink rapidly to indicate a low battery.
- Can’t switch devices: Ensure devices are paired and press the correct function key.
Cleaning
- Use a lint-free cloth dampened with cleaner or disinfectant.
- Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the device.
- Do not use bleach or abrasive solutions.
- Keep liquids away from device openings.
Disposal & recycling information
The European Union’s WEEE directive requires that products sold in EU countries must have the crossed-out trash bin logo on products and batteries. This crossed-out trash bin logo means that customers and end-users should not dispose of electronic and electrical equipment or accessories in household waste. Dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Prevent potential damage to the environment and human health. Please ask your supplier or local authorities about current disposal facilities or disposal in countries outside of the European Union. Caution for disposal of batteries:
- Follow all safety notices for batteries.
- Improper battery replacement can cause leakage, explosion, or injury; avoid leaving the battery discharged for long periods, do not short-circuit it, and keep it away from children under 3 years.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Warranty
The warranty for this product is in accordance with the applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region. This means that the warranty period and conditions are based on the minimum requirements set by local or national legislation. As a consumer, you are legally entitled to a product that meets the reasonable expectations you may have of it. If the product develops a defect due to manufacturing or material issues within the legal warranty period, you are entitled to free repair, replacement, or a refund, depending on the situation.
This warranty does not cover (a) damage caused by incorrect handling, (b) damage due to repairs or manipulation by the customer or unauthorized third parties, (c) abnormal use, (d) normal wear and tear.
Warranty repairs do not extend the warranty period for the device or any replacement parts.
