Rainpos Half Square Triangles

Math:
Add 7/8″ to the desired Finished size of the HSTs.
Example: You need 3″ Finished HSTs. Add 7/8″, the measurement you need is 3 7/8″.

Cutting Instructions
Cut one square each of two different fabrics using the measurement you calculated above.

Sewing Instructions

1. On the back of one of these squares of fabric, draw a single diagonal line.
2. Stack the two squares, right sides together.
3. Sew a seam ¼” on either side of the drawn line.
4. Cut the two halves apart on the drawn line.
5. Open each HST unit, press the seam allowances to one side, and trim the dog ears.
