2. When you open the box, the alarm will go off, which is normal. Enter your master pin (2580#) at the keypad to silence the alarm.
3. Attach the battery leads to the battery, ensuring that the black lead is connected to the black terminal and the red lead is connected to the red terminal. It is crucial to get the polarity correct to avoid damage.
4. Close the metal box door. The alarm may go off again when doing this, so enter your master code again to silence it.
5. Plug in the alarm system power lead to the socket if it's not already connected, and then turn on the power point.
