How do I install the FIREBLAZE FB-SPA26 Electric Fireplace?
I recently purchased the FIREBLAZE FB-SPA26 Electric Fireplace and I'm unsure how to install it. Can you provide step-by-step instructions on how to properly install this electric fireplace?
The FIREBLAZE FB-SPA26 Electric Fireplace can be installed in two ways: recessed installation or installation into a mantel. Here are the steps for each installation method:
Recessed Installation:
1. Choose a suitable location for the fireplace, ensuring it is out of direct sunlight, water, or very damp air.
2. Make sure there is a power supply service installed within proximity of the electric fireplace.
3. Build an opening in the wall according to the dimensions outlined in the manual.
4. Remove the trim kit by pulling it off (it is attached by magnets).
5. Install the fireplace into the wall opening and secure it with the 6 mounting screws provided.
6. Re-attach the trim kit to the fireplace.
7. Ensure that the ventilation areas are not blocked.
8. Place the fireplace on a solid, flat surface if installing on carpeted areas.
Installation into Mantel:
1. Determine the framing dimensions for the mantel according to the illustration in the manual.
2. Remove the trim kit by pulling it off (it is attached by magnets).
3. Install the fireplace into the mantel from the backside and secure it with the 6 mounting screws provided.
4. Ensure that the ventilation areas are not blocked.
