I recently purchased an ARC HANDSFREE PLUS remote dog training system and I want to expand it to a 2-dog system by adding an additional receiver. However, I'm not sure how to pair the new receiver to the transmitter. Can you provide step-by-step instructions?
To pair an additional receiver to the ARC HANDSFREE PLUS transmitter, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the transmitter by holding down the button on the right side until the LCD screen illuminates.
2. Make sure the new receiver is turned off.
3. Place the red dot on the back of the transmitter to the red dot on the new receiver.
4. Hold the two red dots together for a moment until the LED light on the receiver comes on.
5. While the LED light on the receiver is rapidly blinking, separate the transmitter and receiver.
6. Press either the 1st or 2nd dog button on the transmitter to complete the coding process.
7. The LED light on the receiver will blink every 4 seconds when the coding is complete.
Please note that the toggle switch position on the transmitter does not matter for the coding process. Repeat these steps if you need to pair multiple additional receivers to the transmitter.
