How do I connect a microphone to the VOCOPRO WirelessMix Professional Karaoke Mixer?
I have a wired microphone and I'm not sure how to connect it to the mixer. Can you provide step-by-step instructions?
To connect a wired microphone to the VOCOPRO WirelessMix Professional Karaoke Mixer, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Microphone Input Jacks #1-4 on the mixer. These are XLR input jacks.
2. If your microphone has an XLR cable, plug it into one of the Microphone Input Jacks #1-4.
3. If your microphone is a powered/condenser microphone, make sure the +48V Phantom switch is in the ON position.
4. If your microphone has a 1/4" cable, plug it into one of the Line Input Jacks #1-4.
5. Adjust the input gain for the microphone by turning the Gain Control xxxx for the respective channel. Start with a low setting and adjust as needed for an audible signal.
6. Adjust the volume output of the microphone by using the Channel Volume Slider for the respective channel.
7. Repeat these steps for each wired microphone you want to connect.
Note: For best audio, adjust all input gains and volumes so that the LED Level Meter almost never illuminates the top RED LED.
