How do I clean the Oster FPSTFN7700 3 QUART ELECTRIC FONDUE POT?
I want to make sure I clean the fondue pot properly after each use. Can you provide instructions on how to clean it?
To clean the Oster FPSTFN7700 3 QUART ELECTRIC FONDUE POT, follow these steps:
- Unplug the fondue pot and allow it to cool before cleaning. Do not run cold water over the cooking surface immediately after use to protect the Titanium Infused DuraCeramic coating.
- Remove the temperature control probe. Do not immerse the temperature control probe or the fondue pot in liquids.
- Wipe down the cooking surface with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use steel wool or other metal pads as they may scratch the surface.
- The fondue pot is not dishwasher safe. You can wash it with hot soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Make sure the temperature control probe is completely dry before use.
- If stubborn stains appear on the Titanium Infused DuraCeramic coating, you can sprinkle some baking soda on the stained area. Add enough water to moisten the baking soda, creating a paste-like texture. Let it sit for a few minutes (up to an hour for tougher stains), then lightly scrub with a plastic scouring pad or damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.
- For storage, unplug the cord and remove the temperature controller. Allow the appliance to cool before storing. Wind the electrical cord into a coil and secure it with a twist fastener. The temperature controller and cord can be stored inside the fondue pot for convenience.
Note: The coating of the Titanium Infused DuraCeramic fondue pot is designed to be durable and long-lasting. Any stubborn stains that may appear will not affect the performance or non-stick quality of the coating.
