To thread the Singer 5525 Sewing Machine, follow these steps as outlined in the user manual:
1. Raise the presser foot using the presser foot lifter.
2. Place a spool of thread on the spool pin and secure it with the spool pin cap.
3. Pull the thread from the spool and pass it through the thread guide.
4. Bring the thread down and around the tension dial, following the numbered threading path indicated on the machine.
5. Continue threading the thread through the take-up lever from right to left.
6. Guide the thread through the needle bar thread guide and the needle thread guide.
