To add the uControl Fax printer to your list of printers for sending faxes, follow these steps:
1. Open the uControl Fax Configuration software.
2. Click on the Tools menu and select "Add Printer."
3. In the window that opens, verify that "PBXware1" is listed in the dropdown list for Port. If it is not listed, click the "add new port" button.
4. Next, click the "Add New Driver" button.
5. Choose the appropriate manufacturer (HP or NRG) and select the corresponding printer driver (HP LaserJet 4050 Series PS or NRG MP 1100 PS) from the list.
6. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete adding the driver.
7. Ensure that "PBXware1" is listed in the port dropdown list and either "NRG MP1100 PS" or "HP LaserJet 4050 Series PS" is listed in the driver dropdown list.
8. Click "OK" to add the printer. If you click "Cancel," the printer will not be created.
After following these steps, the uControl Fax printer should now be available in your list of printers. To test your setup, open a Word document, type some text, select Print, and choose the uControl Fax printer. Follow the prompts to send a test fax. If you encounter any issues or if the uControl Fax printer does not appear in the list, revisit the Tools menu and add the fax printer again, ensuring that the Port is set to "PBXWare1" and the Printer Driver is set to "NRG MP1100 PS" or "HP LaserJet 4050 Series PS.
