To change the detection range of the presence detection sensor in the JOROJIN MM5D91E00 Presence Detection Evaluation Kit, you can follow these steps:
1. Connect the radar board to your PC through the Micro USB connector.
2. Download and open the Presence detection Config tool from Infineon’s website.
3. Select the correct COM port number and press the Connect button to establish a connection with the radar board.
4. In the Config tab page of the software, you will find an option to set the "Max range" parameter. This parameter allows you to adjust the maximum detection distance of the presence detection sensor.
5. Enter the desired value within the range of [1.0 – 10.0] meters for the Max range parameter. The setting will be stored in the flash memory of the module.
6. Additionally, you can also set the "Min range" parameter to adjust the minimum detection distance of the presence detection sensor. Ensure that the Min range value is smaller than the Max range value.
