To ensure that your MobileHelp CBS4-01 DUO Best Medical Alert System is set up correctly and ready to use, follow these steps:
1. Plug the power cords into electrical outlets and turn on the ON/OFF switch on the back of the device.
2. Wait for 10 seconds for the Emergency and Reset buttons to light up, and the display screen to turn on.
3. If the base station is set up correctly and connects to the cellular network, it will display "system ready" within 60 seconds.
4. Use the volume control buttons (+ or -) on the front of the unit under the display screen to adjust the voice volume if needed.
5. Within a few minutes of turning on the system, the Cellular Base Station will obtain the date and time from the cellular network, which will appear on the display area. Note that the date and time cannot be set manually.
6. If the Mobile Device is set up correctly and connects to the cellular network, it will also announce "system ready."
