To reset the TMCM-1161 module to factory default settings without establishing a communication link, follow these steps:
1. Power off the module and disconnect the USB cable.
2. Locate the two pads on the bottom side of the board that need to be shortened (refer to Figure 4.1 in the manual).
3. Short the two pads together.
4. Power up the board (power via USB is sufficient for this purpose).
5. Wait until the on-board red and green LEDs start flashing rapidly (this may take some time).
6. Power off the board by disconnecting the USB cable.
7. Remove the short between the pads.
8. After switching on the power supply or reconnecting the USB cable, all permanent settings will be restored to factory defaults.
This procedure allows you to reset the TMCM-1161 module to its original factory settings without requiring a communication link.
