1. **Install the Ajax Hub and Create a Room:**
- Follow the hub user guide to install the hub and create at least one room.
2. **Add Ajax Security System:**
- Create an account and add the Ajax security system.
3. **Check Internet Connection:**
- Switch on the hub and ensure it is connected to the internet via Ethernet cable and/or GSM network.
4. **Ensure Hub Status:**
- Make sure the hub is disarmed and not updating by checking its status in the Ajax app.
5. **Add Device:**
- In the Ajax app, select "Add Device."
- Name the device, scan or type the QR code (located on the detector body and packaging), and select the location room.
6. **Switch on the Device:**
- Tap "Add" and switch on the device.
