To wire an external device to the apollo RW1700-052APO REACH Output Module, follow these steps:
1. **For 100mA/12VDC or 50mA/24VDC External Device Driving Capability:**
- Refer to the wiring example provided in the user manual.
- Ensure that the 10KΩ EOL R resistor is correctly installed to monitor the cable connection status.
- Incorrect installation of the resistor may lead to the device not operating as intended.
2. **For Relay Switch Output:**
- Refer to the wiring example provided in the user manual.
- Ensure that the device connected to the unit does not draw more than 2A at 30V (no 220 VAC).
- Using mains voltage or drawing too much current through the output relay could damage the unit and void the warranty.
- Install a properly fire-rated cable between the third-party device and the output module according to the national code of practice.
