To configure the EM400-MUD ultrasonic distance sensor using NFC, follow these steps:
1. **Download and Install "Milesight ToolBox" App:**
- Download and install the "Milesight ToolBox" App from Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone.
2. **Enable NFC on Your Smartphone:**
- Make sure NFC is enabled on your smartphone.
3. **Open "Milesight ToolBox" App:**
- Open the "Milesight ToolBox" App on your smartphone.
4. **Attach Smartphone to the Device:**
- Attach the smartphone with NFC area to the device to read the basic information.
5. **Read and Write Device Settings:**
- Basic information and settings of the device will be shown on the ToolBox if it's recognized successfully.
- You can switch on/off, read, and write the device settings by tapping the buttons on the App.
- Password validation is required when configuring via an unused phone. The default password is 123456.
6. **Additional Notes:**
- Ensure the location of the smartphone's NFC area and remove the phone case if necessary.
- If the smartphone fails to read/write configurations via NFC, move the phone away and try again.
- Alternatively, you can configure the device using a dedicated NFC reader provided by Milesight IoT or via the TTL interface inside the device.
By following these steps, you should be able to configure your EM400-MUD ultrasonic distance sensor using NFC successfully.
