To set the input gain on the ART TUBE MP Studio Microphone Preamp, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Input Control xxxx on the front panel of the preamp.
2. Turn the Input Control xxxx clockwise to increase the gain and counterclockwise to decrease the gain.
3. The Input Control xxxx allows you to control two ranges of gain: +26 to +60dB and +6 to +40dB.
4. Use the +20dB Gain Switch to set the gain range of the input control. When the switch is out, the preamp operates in Normal mode. Depressing the switch adds 20dB of gain.
5. For microphone applications requiring more gain, push the +20dB Gain Switch in. For hot line level inputs, keep the switch in the out position.
By adjusting the Input Control xxxx and utilizing the +20dB Gain Switch, you can easily set the input gain on the ART TUBE MP Studio Microphone Preamp to suit your specific recording needs.
