Regular maintenance of the filters is essential to ensure optimal performance of the POWERTECH AF4001 Air Filtration System. Here are the guidelines for filter replacement:
1. **Frequency:** The inner and outer filters should be checked regularly based on the amount of usage and the workshop environment. If the filters are visibly dirty or clogged, they should be replaced promptly to maintain proper air circulation.
2. **Replacement Process:**
- **Outer Filter:** Lift up on the clips located at the top and bottom of the cabinet to remove the outer filter. Insert the new outer filter, ensuring the arrow indicating the air flow direction is positioned correctly.
- **Inner Filter:** Pull out the inner filter from the cabinet. The inner filter can be cleaned by blowing it out with air or washing it to extend its life. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it into the unit.
3. **Fuse Replacement:** If needed, the fuse/fuse cap is located on the rear of the unit in the control panel. Follow the instructions in the to replace the fuse if necessary.
