To access the camera on your local network using the IP-Tool, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the camera and your PC are connected to the same LAN (Local Area Network).
2. Download the IP-Tool installer from the VITEK website at www.vitekcctv.com/Downloads/Software/... and install it on your PC.
3. Open the installed IP-Tool application.
4. Modify the IP address of the camera. The default IP address is 192.168.226.201. Click on the camera information listed in the application to display the network information on the right side. Modify the IP address and gateway of the camera to match your local network segment.
5. Make sure the camera's network address is in the same local network segment as your computer's.
6. Input the administrator password (default: "123456") and click the "Modify" button to save the settings.
7. Double-click the camera's IP address in the IP-Tool application. This will open a web browser to connect to the camera. If using Internet Explorer, it may prompt you to download an Active X control.
8. Input the default username (admin) and password (123456) to log in and access the camera's interface for monitoring and configuration.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully access your VITEK VTD-TND8RFA4-2 camera on your local network using the IP-Tool. For more detailed instructions, refer to the complete user guide available online at http://www.vitekcctv.com/Downloads.
