To set up your MMB Thread Border Router for initial use, follow these steps:
1. **Download a Thread Mobile Commissioning App:** Choose a Thread Mobile Commissioning App of your choice and download it to your device. Please note that MMB Networks does not provide a commissioning app at this time.
2. **Scan the WIFI QR Code:** Use the mobile commissioning app to scan the WIFI QR Code located on the underside of the MMB TBR. This will provide you with the unique WiFi SSID of the device.
3. **Connect Cables:** On the rear of the MMB TBR, connect the Ethernet Cable from your LAN Router. Then, connect the USB-C Power Adapter. Wait for the Status LED to turn Solid Green, indicating that the device is ready.
4. **Access the WebUI:** Open your browser and enter the MMB TBR's DHCP-assigned IP address to access the MMB TBR webUI. Alternatively, the MMB TBR may also advertise itself via mDNS if you have an mDNS server on your network.
By following these steps, you should be able to set up your MMB Thread Border Router for initial use and configuration.
